The sour cherry is an interesting fruit. You pluck the first one from the tree, taste it sour and make you grin! Then comes the second, the third, then the umpteenth, and you find yourself unable to stop. Somebody either really likes it or really doesn’t, that’s how it is with cherry jam!
A fragrant accompaniment to cakes, pancakes, doughnuts. Just like the traditional sour cherry, serve it with yoghurt, oatmeal, porridge, on its own, or however you like!
